REAL ESTATE APPRENTICE

Armbrust Real Estate Institute is the Colorado RealtyU® Affiliate School and a founding sponsor of The Real Estate Apprentice Grant Foundation. Enrollment into the Real Estate Apprentice is available to AREI Broker Pre-license students. The goal of The Real Estate Apprentice is to assist newly licensed real estate agents to enter the industry by overcoming their obstacles, and to facilitate the creation of top producing agents by providing quality real estate education, guidance, products and services to expedite a successful fast track to profitability. The real estate grants are designed to help raise the standards and levels of professionalism for real estate agents in general.

Annual grants are valued at approximately $1,000,000. Each six-month season one Grand Prize Winner Grant is awarded valued at approximately $70,000, ten Finalist Grants are awarded valued at approximately $7,000, twenty Semi-finalist Grants are awarded valued at approximately $2,500 and every applicant for the Real Estate Apprentice® Grant whether they win or not, receives a grant valued at approximately $250 each.

Every year the Real Estate Apprentice® Foundation appoints a new panel of 15 - 20 judges based on industry experience, leadership, vision and impartiality. The selection criteria includes essays and interviews that are graded on traits such as communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, salesmanship skills, uniqueness, creativity and integrity. Every qualified new real estate agent will receive a grant to further the real estate career.

These grants might include;

  • Reimbursement of fees for licensing courses, examination and license fees;
  • Membership dues for the local, state, and National Association of Realtors;
  • Fees, airfare and accommodations at the annual NAR convention;
  • A customized real estate marketing kit;
  • A cell phone with national service for one year;
  • A personal wireless digital assistant, free for one year;
  • A top of the line laptop computer with printer;
  • Creation and maintenance for one year of your own custom website;
  • An extensive suite of real estate software;
  • A personal technology AND productivity coach;
  • Unlimited weekly mentoring for one year;
  • and much much more.
